Zechariah

Faixa 11

The city is back but broken The temple is rising but small The people returned, but glory felt gone Then God says, return to me

And I will return to you Return to me Night visions begin Horses among myrtles

Horns that scatter Judah A measuring line over Jerusalem God is not finished with Zion He remembers the city

He remembers the covenant Joshua stands accused The high priest wears filthy clothes Satan brings the charge

The Lord rebukes him Dirty garments removed Clean robes given Grace answers accusation

The priest is restored Clean robes given Then comes the branch The servant

The king The stone God says I will remove sin And one day

Not by politics, not by force By the coming work of the Lord The lampstand burns ere a Bible hears Not by might, not by power

But by my spirit, says the Lord Small beginnings are not failure The mountain becomes level The temple will stand

The vision’s also on the flying scroll The woman in the basket Wickedness carried away God comforts Zion

But he also cleanses Restoration is not permission To stay corrupt, he cleanses Then the future opens

A king comes lowly Riding on a donkey A shepherd is rejected Thirty pieces of silver

They look on him whom they pierced A fountain opens for sin and uncleanness Jerusalem will suffer, but the Lord will reign The nations will gather, but the king will stay

His feet touch the mountain, living waters flow The Lord will be king over all the earth God rebuilds, God cleanses, God restores priests, God promises the branch, the king is humble, the king is peace, the king is coming, not by might, not by power, by my spirit, says the Lord.
