Love needs time, love needs presence The Word became flesh and lived among us. God came near. Jesus sat at tables. He heard pain. He wept with friends. He called each name. Truth became presence Love came close

Close enough To touch I will stop I will listen

I will stay I will ask No quick answer No escape

Tell me truth I will wait Come closer Stay longer
